About the Consulate:
The consulate can offer advice and assistance to Danish citizens in emergency situations.
Our regular consular services include passports for children under the age of 12, emergency passports, extension of passports, international driver licenses, and voting during appropriate election cycles.
Please note that the consulate does not process visa applications for travel to Denmark. Please see How to apply for a visa (um.dk).
About Des Moines, Iowa:
Des Moines is the capital and the most populous city in the state of Iowa.
The City of Des Moines is a cultural center for Iowa and home to several art and history museums and performing arts groups, including the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, Hoyt Sherman Place, the Des Moines Metro Opera and the Des Moines Symphony. The Icelandic/Danish artist Olafur Eliasson’s “Panoramic awareness pavilion” can be found in Des Moines at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park.
