How to apply for a visa

The Consulate General of Denmark in New York is a Regional Visa Hub for the United States and Canada. In the United States we process visa applications for Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland and in Canada we process visa applications for Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland. You must have legal stay in either of the countries where you apply.
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has commissioned VFS Global to operate the Danish Visa Application Centres in the US and in Canada.
Applicants applying for short-term business, private visit or tourist Schengen visas for Denmark should submit their applications and have their biometrics obtained at one of the VFS Global's offices. By appointment only.
