Arts and Culture

The Embassy of Denmark in Washington D.C. and the Consulate General of Denmark in New York support the international cultural exchange between Denmark and the United States across a wide range of art forms – from visual and performing arts, over music, literature, historical and cultural heritage, to film, architecture and design.

We advise both Danish and U.S. artists and cultural organisations. 
 
We work closely with local cultural stakeholders and institutions to facilitate Danish, Nordic and global cultural events and counsel in regards to the realisation of individual projects. 
 
We inform the American public about Denmark and Danish culture in general.
