Danish Consulate in Salt Lake City, Utah
The Royal Danish Consulate can offer advice and assistance to Danish Citizens, and our regular consular services include passport application assistance for children under the age of 12, issuing emergency passports, extension of passports, certification and translation of official Danish documents, and assistance to Danish citizens in distress.
Salt Lake City is the Capital of the State of Utah, and sits at the western slope of the Rock Mountains, and is known for “the greatest snow on earth”.
Utah has the second largest population of residents with Danish ancestral background of more than 145,000 people. Utah was settled in 1847 by Brigham Young. Between 1850 and 1950 more than 18,000 people from Denmark immigrated to Utah.
