Maggie supports her husband's creativity, manages the finances and raises their two children. The story begins on an early evening with a disastrous error. Carsten learns that a possible Michelin diner was served a spoiled ingredient. A Michelin Star would save the restaurant. As Carsten rages at his staff for the mistake, Maggie tries to find the critic and convince him for another chance. According to the Los Angeles Times, "A Taste of Hunger is a delectable cinematic treat, one that deserves to be savored". "FLEE" tells, in animated form, the story of Amin Nawabi as he grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband. A narrative of a refugee's haunting journey from Kabul to Copenhagen, a tale of flight and alienation. Joe Morgenstern wrote in the Wall Street Journal: "Amin's odyssey is a voyage of horrors from beginning to nearly the end, the end being a humane reception in Denmark. It's the stuff of news clips or articles we come across every day. Refugees flee one country only to be turned back by another. Refugees flee in fragile boats, and drown. Refugees spend weeks, months, years in camps that profess to be temporary. How much of their plight we understand is another matter. Never enough, but a lot more after seeing "Flee" and being pulled into suffocating apartments, locked asylum centers, and sealed cargo containers taking on water in heaving seas". The film is playing at the AMC Sunset 5 and the Landmark in Los Angeles. -------------------------- Leading Design Studio Opens Showroom in L.A.'s Arts District.
