South Carolina
The Palmetto State of South Carolina encompasses 32,020 square miles and is ranked 40th in the nation's total area. Not only is it known for its beautiful sandy beaches along its East Coast and thriving tourism, it is home to a major aviation heavyweight, a growing international port, and many key manufacturing companies.

The Tarheel State of North Carolina, just north of South Carolina, covers 48,617 square miles of the United States.
