NB! The United States will be categorised as an orange country from September 4, 2021. If you are not fully vaccinated with an EMA-approved vaccine you must have a worthy purpose to travel to Denmark. You can find more information on the Danish corona/covid-19 website: Foreigners habitually resident abroad (coronasmitte.dk)

Canada is categorised as a yellow country, so all applicants from Canada are exempt from the requirements for worthy purpose.

Submission of a Schengen visa application is on a limited basis at the Visa Application Center (VFS) in New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Houston and San Francisco.

The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has commissioned VFS Global to operate the Danish Visa Application Centres in the US and in Canada.

Applicants applying for short-term business, private visit or tourist Schengen visas for Denmark should submit their applications and have their biometrics obtained at one of the VFS Global's offices. By appointment only.
