New Entry Requirements in Denmark
Starting October 26, 2020 new requirements came into force for people, who want to cross the border to Denmark. As a new requirement, people from high-risk countries must have a worthy purpose of entering Denmark and must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test, taken no more than 72 hours before entry.
Danish nationals and persons resident in Denmark can enter Denmark regardless of the intended purpose of their entry and without presenting proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
If you enter Denmark from a high-risk country or region, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all non-essential travel due to COVID-19, you are strongly advised to follow the Danish Health Authority’s guidelines on self-isolation for 14 days.
You should follow the general advice of the Danish Health Authority regarding COVID-19.
