The Consulate General of Denmark, Chicago, provides consular services to Danish citizens in the Midwest. The Midwestern states are:
Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
The consular services include issuing of Danish passports, emergency passports and extension of validity, as well as issuing and renewing Danish driving licenses.
The Consulate General of Denmark in Chicago support Danish citizens staying in the US in critical situations; varying from sudden illness, death, money transfers, imprisonment, to child abduction cases, etc.
