Danish Passport

You can apply for a new Danish passport or a renewal of your existing passport at three Danish Representations in the US: The Consulate General in New York, The Consulate General in Chicago, and The Consulate of Denmark in Sacramento (formerly San Francisco).

NEWS: This spring, our consular departments will be traveling across the US to assist with applications for biometric passports. You can apply for Danish biometric passports or obtain biometrics for residence and work permits in:

Houston (April 4-5, 2013)

Washington (April 22-26) - only passports.

Atlanta - The Trade Council (May 6-8, 2013)

Los Angeles (May 27-31, 2013)

Biometric passport services are always available in Chicago, New York and Sacramento. Passport services are also available for children under 12 at any of the 38 consulates in the USA. 

Lost passport
If you have lost your Danish passport, please contact the Embassy or the Consulate General in New York or Chicago for more information.

Picking up your new passport
When you have received notification from the General Consulates or the Consulate in Sacramento that your new passport has arrived, please contact representation to schedule a time to pick it up. Bring your old passport with you for cancellation.
