In 2016, the Embassy of Denmark in Washington, DC will be closed on the following days:

February 15: President’s Day

March 25: Good Friday

March 28: Easter Monday

May 30: Memorial Day

July 4: Independence Day / Fourth of July

September 5: Labor Day

October 10: Columbus Day

November 24: Thanksgiving Day

December 24: Christmas Eve

December 25: Christmas Day

December 26: 2. juledag

December 31: New Year’s Eve

In 2017, the General Consulate in New York will be closed on the following days:

January 1: New Year's Day

January 16: Martin Luther King Day

February 20: President’s Day

April 14: Good Friday

May 29: Memorial Day

July 4: Independence Day

September 4: Labor Day

November 23: Thanksgiving Day

November 24: Black Friday

December 25-29: Christmas holiday


In 2016, the General Consulate in Chicago will be closed on the following days:

January 1: New Year's Day

January 18: Martin Luther King Day

March 24; Maundy Day

March 25: Good Friday

March 28: Easter Monday

April 22: Prayer Day

May 5: Ascension Day

May 16: White Monday
