If your company is considering setting up abroad, the Trade Council’s advisors can help you. The Trade Council has advisors with intimate knowledge of local markets in place all over the world, and they can help your company to find the best type of formation.
Competitiveness and market access often require local presence. The Trade Council can provide advice concerning the type of formation that best suits your company on the individual market. When you are setting up a local sales office or subsidiary, the Trade Council can help with an overview of the legislation for setting up and requirements concerning company registration. We can help you to find potential premises to set up in, assist with recruitment and hiring of personnel, investigate and compare the level of costs for salaries and social benefits, and coordinate contact with local real estate agents, lawyers and accountants. We can also help you to obtain an overview of tax rules and labour-market legislation as well as other matters.
The Trade Council’s incubator scheme enables you to test set-up on a new market, inexpensively and simply. Rent office facilities and get commercial and administrative help in selected Trade Council missions in the world.
The incubator is an office community with a separate entrance and reception, usually connected to a Danish embassy, consulate general or trade commission. This gives you access to a fully operational office in the market where you wish to set up business. You just have to plug in the computer. Then you can concentrate on testing opportunities on the new market. What you obtain in the incubator
Although we do not offer legal assistance or assistance with tax returns, the Trade Council’s advisors can help you to establish contact with relevant law and accountancy firms.
The Trade Council is present in every important export market in the world through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ embassies, consulates general and trade commissions. The Trade Council’s global network of 250 advisors with local expertise are directly at the disposal of the Danish business community. The Trade Council has incubators in Atlanta, Bangalore, Chicago, Ho Chi Minh City, Munich, Saint Petersburg, Shanghai, Silicon Valley, São Paulo and Tokyo.
If there is no incubator in the market where you are considering setting up a business, contact the Trade Council to learn about how we can help you. You can either call the Trade Council’s hotline at +45 33920500 or contact one of the Trade Council’s advisors in the local market.
The prices for utilising the incubator scheme vary according to locality and the scope of the service agreement. Contact the Trade Council or the incubators for an estimate.
