Hosted by the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) along with the Global Network of Women’s Shelters, the WCWS conference was also addressed by Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama and Chair of the White House Council on Women and Girls, Valerie Jarrett and White House Adviser on Violence Against Women, Lynn Rosenthal.
Also on the schedule for the Crown Princess' visit was accompanying Ambassador Peter Taksøe-Jensen to the Inter-American Development Bank, where the ambassador signed a donation of USD 2.4 million on behalf of Denmark to the Gender and Equality Trust Fund.
