With 20,000 km of coastline and 60,000 km of shoreline, the maritime industry plays a vital role in the US as port activities account for 26% of the economy. The US domestic fleet consists of more than 40,000 vessels and the maritime share of US trade is projected to double by 2023, proving Danish companies with solid market opportunities.
In early 2016, we began working with Danish maritime companies and developed a strong focus on the following target segments: cruise ships, US Navy and Coast Guard, offshore supply vessels, fishing fleet, and river and barge transportation. Danish companies represent among other things expertise within pollution control and safety on ships.
Examples of clients are a manufacturer of customized emission reduction systems and a company providing technologies that clean oil and chemical-polluted process water for the on and offshore industries. We help the companies penetrate the market with an absolute minimum of risk, developing a go-to-market plan and/or market expansion strategy, depending on the companies' current status or goals.
