The large MoMA design exhibition “Century of the Child” displays several Danish design elements. The exhibition, which runs from July 29th to November 5th 2012, describes how children have influenced the modern way of design thinking in the 20th century.
Modern Danish Designs plays an important role, and curated work by Danish artists and designers such as Kay Bojesen, Asger Jorn, Verner Panton and LEGO can be seen.“Century of the Child” brings together design in a number of areas such as school architecture, playgrounds, toys and games, animation, furniture and books. Hundreds of works from the US and abroad will be on view.
